Soviet Navy Flag; 1977

115.00

I picked up this small Soviet Naval flag in a tiny store in Kutaisi, Georgia. Georgia is a former Soviet Republic that lies on the Black Sea so it makes sense to have discovered it there. The star and the iconic hammer and sickle logos are printed on both sides of the flag.

The flag would have been flown on an active duty ship. Very well made with reinforced stitching at all corners. There are a few holes spaced throughout the flag but they are not too large as can be seen in the photo.

The flag is dated 1977. This unusual size will look great framed!
