1929 Denoyoer-Geppert World Globe

325.00

This rare 12" terrestrial globe from celebrated Chicago maker, Denoyer-Geppert, sits on an Art Nouveau claw foot base. The subtle colors of the cartography are contrasted by the brightly colored political borders and air and water currents. The red lines have all retained their bold color.

There is damage at the base where the trunk has rubbed away some of the paper but the damage does not detract from the overall look of the globe.

This handsome globe shows Central Australia, Peking and Constantinople which help pinpoint the date.

Stands 20" Tall.
