Original Postcard of Constantinople

Original Postcard of Constantinople

12.00

I'll never forget the first time I looked back across the river to see the skyline of Istanbul! Although it was over a hundred years after this image was captured, much remains the same. The bridges are still the best place to watch passers-by and the minarets still dominate the hill beyond!

The postcard labels the city as Constantinople. The name would change to Istanbul in 1930, but based on the clothing this card was made long before then. 1890's or early 1900's.

Card was never sent and is in great shape as a result.
