For your consideration is a double sided chalkboard map of Europe and Asia from A.J. Nystrom of Chicago. The map is slated and can written on just like a chalkboard, luckily this piece is free from any old chalk residue. The European side is especially clean.
The map does have a couple of blemishes but is easily the best example I've owned. In fact, this map has hung in my personal collection for close to 15 years now. The photos clearly show the excellent condition and the minor puncture in the lower corner just above the date of July 1964.
The map comes mounted on its original bracket and the tension rod still works perfectly. Overall length is 56" for the bracket and the map itself measures 52" x 46"
