Columbus is one of the premier makers of globes in the world today. This wonderful desk globe dates to 1949-50. The paper gores feature some very detailed maps in very clear graphics. The mirrored base makes the Southern Hemisphere easier to read.
Overall, the globe is in fantastic condition. There is one minor section of map missing south of Iceland. Please see pictures for more detail.
Stands 10" tall and is 9" wide.
